Bishkek, Jan. 21, 2025. /Kabar/. In 2024, 1 thousand kilometers of roads were built in Kyrgyzstan, Chief Specialist of the Roads Department of the Ministry of Transport and Communications Alymbek Turdaliev said on the air of Birinchi Radio.
He noted that 17 bridges were built last year, as well as works on replacement and installation of 5,125 road signs were carried out.
“Significant work was done in the country last year. In 2024, the ministry paved 800 kilometers of asphalt, updated the technical base and purchased 453 units of specialized equipment. Also, markings were applied to 1,705 kilometers of roads. If everything goes according to plan, these works will continue in 2025,” the representative of the Kyrgyz Transport Ministry added
