Bishkek, Nov.19, 2024. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan Avazbek Atakhanov held a meeting with Deputy Foreign Minister (Additional Secretary for West Asia, Afghanistan and Economic Cooperation Organization) of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Ahmed Nasim Warraich.
The sides discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-Pakistani relations, as well as promising areas of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said.
Ambassador Avazbek Atakhanov noted the readiness of Kyrgyzstan to expand and diversify cooperation between the two countries in all aspects of mutual interest, especially in trade, education and science, culture and tourism.
The sides exchanged wide range of issues and the timing of the next inter-ministerial political consultations, the upcoming meeting of the Kyrgyz-Pakistani intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation, as well as the organization of mutual visits at the highest and high level.
They also agreed to take the necessary joint measures to increase trade turnover between the two countries, including through the activation of business contacts.
