Bishkek, Oct. 28, 2024. /Kabar/. On October 27, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Saudi Arabia Ulukbek Maripov held a meeting with First Deputy of the Board of Directors of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry Raid bin Ibrahim Al-Madeikhim.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that during the meeting the parties discussed issues of deepening trade and economic relations between the two countries and taking the necessary measures to more effectively use the existing potential.
The ambassador spoke in detail about the latest results of the work of the Kyrgyz Embassy in the KSA to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
In particular, he noted the successful mutual visits at the high and highest levels, the organization of participation of state and business delegations at various events, the holding of the first Kyrgyz-Saudi Business Council, the launch of direct regular flights between the two countries, etc. At the meeting, the ambassador focused special attention on the upcoming visit of the Saudi Arabian business delegation to Kyrgyzstan and invited R. Al-Madeikhim to also visit the republic as part of the Saudi delegation in order to get acquainted with the potential opportunities for bilateral cooperation and increase trade turnover between the two countries.
For his part, R. Al-Madeikhim highly appreciated the dynamics of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the Kingdom and expressed readiness to develop trade and economic cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in all areas of mutual interest.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain close contacts and continue interaction to strengthen trade ties between the two countries.
