Bishkek, Oct. 17, 2024. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov held a meeting with representatives of a number of American companies and organizations.
Participants included representatives of the American-Kyrgyz Business Council, technology corporation Apple. Inc., transnational pharmaceutical company Pfizer, Franklin University, the press service of the Kyrgyz Cabinet reported.
The meeting participants discussed prospects of cooperation. Special attention was paid to the development of high technologies, digitalization, educational initiatives, pharmaceutical sector and health care system.
Akylbek Zhaparov expressed interest in expanding cooperation with American companies, exchange of experience, implementation of educational programs for citizens of Kyrgyzstan, emphasizing the importance of introducing innovations in various sectors of the country's economy. He also noted that partnership with such global leaders as Apple and Pfizer will open new opportunities for the introduction of advanced technologies and development of innovative solutions in the field of medicine.
Representatives of Apple. Inc. noted the existing potential in the digital economy of the country, expressing readiness to implement educational projects for software developers.
Within the framework of the meeting the possibilities of opening a campus of Franklin University in Kyrgyzstan were discussed. The university offers the opening of bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs in medicine, information technology, cyber security and other areas.
Representatives of US companies also expressed readiness for deeper cooperation, noting that they see significant potential in investments and joint projects in the region.
