Osh, Jan.20, 2025. /Kabar/. An enterprise for garbage processing is planned to be built in Kyrgyzstan’s Osh city. This became known at the meeting of Osh Mayor Bakytbek Zhetigenov with General Director of Hunan Junxing Company of Changsha (PRC) Dai Daogo.
In the course of the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation, including an investment project for the construction of a modern garbage processing plant, which will use a unique technology to generate heat and electricity by burning garbage and coal.
Implementation of this investment project will allow to expand the coverage of providing residents of Osh and new neighborhoods with heat energy in the heating winter period and hot water throughout the year. The planned capacity of the enterprise is 2000 tons of garbage and coal per day with energy output of up to 50 megawatts.
During the visit to Osh city, representatives of Hunan Junxing Company familiarized with the activities of Osh Power Plant and the landfill of Osh-Tazalyk SMP.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to create a working group to prepare the above project and further elaboration of an agreement on investment cooperation.
