As part of the state visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Kyrgyzstan, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic Kamchybek Tashiev met with head of the National Intelligence Organization of Turkey Ibrahim Kalin.
The State Committee for National Securityof Kyrgyzstan said that during the meeting, Kamchybek Tashiev emphasized the importance of multilateral cooperation between the two countries. The State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, together with the National Intelligence Organization of Turkey, organized a set of special events that were successfully implemented.
Chairman of the State Committee for National Security also emphasized the importance of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the Kyrgyz Republic and expressed confidence that such meetings will make a great contribution to the expansion of strategic cooperation between the two countries. Ibrahim Kalyn thanked the Kyrgyz people for the warm welcome and hospitality, noting that the visit of the leader of the Republic of Turkiye to Kyrgyzstan is very important for them too.
In his speech, Ibrahim Kalyn noted the major role of the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic Kamchybek Tashiev in ensuring the national security of Kyrgyzstan, cited as an example efforts to eliminate organized crime groups and facts of their financing, as well as decisive steps in resolving border issues.
Also at the meeting, the parties discussed mutual cooperation between the security services of the two countries.
