International reserves of Kyrgyz National Bank reach USD 4.8 bln

Bishkek, Oct. 29, 2024. /Kabar/. International reserves of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan continue to grow, Deputy Chairman of the Bank Azat Kozubekov said during a press conference at Kabar News Agency on Tuesday.

He added that as of Oct. 24 this year, the volume of international reserves of the regulator amounted to $4.8 billion, having increased by 47% since the beginning of the year.

Kozubekov noted that the structure of international reserves includes a wide range of assets, such as foreign currency, securities, etc.
