Bishkek, Nov.18, 2024. /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev received on Monday US Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Viguerie, the Foreign Ministry’s press service said.
During the conversation, the sides discussed key issues of Kyrgyz-American cooperation, focusing on political dialog, economic interaction, investment and humanitarian issues.
Kulubaev congratulated the U.S. ambassador on the success presidential elections and emphasized Kyrgyzstan's readiness to further deepen bilateral relations, including in the C5+1 format.
In turn, Ambassador Viguerie confirmed the readiness of the United States to strengthen cooperation with Kyrgyzstan at the bilateral level and within the framework of the regional platform C5+1.
The ambassador also expressed the support for Kyrgyzstan's humanitarian initiatives, including repatriation of citizens - women and children from Syria and Iraq, and confirmed the readiness of the United States to provide technical assistance in these matters.
At the end of the meeting, both sides noted the importance of open dialog and expressed confidence in further strengthening of bilateral partnership.
