Bishkek, Oct. 25, 2024. /Kabar/. On October 24, the grand opening of the Kyrgyz Cinema Days, organized as part of the Kyrgyz Republic Culture Days in Belarus, took place at the Pobeda cinema in Minsk.
The Ministry of Culture reported that this cultural festival is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region, which became an important milestone in the history of Kyrgyzstan and a symbol of the country's state formation.
The Kyrgyz Cinema Days are designed to introduce the Belarusian audience to the richness and diversity of Kyrgyz cinema, to reflect the cultural traditions, identity and spiritual heritage of the people of Kyrgyzstan.
Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy Gulbara Kadyrbekova and Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Belarus Erbol Sultanbaev, as well as Deputy Minister of Culture of Belarus Valery Gromada spoke at the opening. In their speeches, they noted the importance of strengthening cultural ties between the two countries and emphasized the significance of Kyrgyz cinema as a unique platform for international cultural exchange.
