Bishkek, Oct. 30, 2024. / Kabar /. The Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund was held in Washington on October 21 - 26.
The Ministry of Finance reported that the event was attended by Finance Minister of Kyrgyzstan Almaz Baketaev.
As part of a bilateral meeting with Finance Minister of Tajikistan Faiziddin Kahhorzoda, a ceremony of signing a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Finance Ministry of Kyrgyzstan and the Finance Ministry of Tajikistan was held.
The signed memorandum creates a basis for deepening cooperation in the financial sector, allowing for the exchange of experience, the implementation of joint projects and the attraction of foreign investment, which in turn contributes to regional stability and economic development.
