Bishkek, Jan. 17, 2025. / Kabar /. First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Daniyar Amangeldiev met with member of the board (minister) for customs cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Ruslan Davydov.
The Cabinet of Ministers reported that the parties discussed key issues of customs regulation in the Eurasian Economic Union.
During the meeting, Ruslan Davydov presented information on the work carried out within the framework of the implementation of the instructions of the heads of government of the member states in the field of customs regulation and proposals for further modernization of the infrastructure of checkpoints in order to create favorable conditions for participants in foreign economic activity.
Daniyar Amangeldiev emphasized the importance of eliminating barriers through the integration and application of digital solutions aimed at simplifying customs processes and creating favorable conditions for business. He also noted the successful modernization of the checkpoints of the Kyrgyz Republic on the external border of the EAEU and the positive experience of the republic in creating a "single window" system in the field of foreign trade. Ruslan Davydov noted Kyrgyzstan's efforts to develop customs infrastructure and digitalization, including within the framework of the Smart Bazhy information system.
In addition, the sides discussed the implementation of the Agreement on the use of navigation seals in the EAEU to track shipments and other pressing issues in the field of customs cooperation.
The parties emphasized the importance of open dialogue and cooperation to strengthen integration and resolve pressing issues.
