Kyrgyzstan sets record for tax collection in 2024

Bishkek, Jan.23, 2025. /Kabar/. In 2024, the State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan reached a record level of tax collection, having collected KGS 228.2 billion in the country's budget.

The press service of the Tax Service reported that the key sources of revenues were:

- VAT on domestic goods – KGS 39.4 billion,

- VAT on imports from EAEU countries – KGS 37.9 billion,

- Income tax – KGS 26.5 billion,

- Profit tax – KGS 20.1 billion,

- Tax on income of gold mining companies – KGS 16.1 billion,

- Single tax – KGS 15.08 billion,

- Excise tax on imports from EAEU countries – KGS 13.3 billion.

The increase in tax collections was possible due to improved tax administration, enhanced monitoring and analysis, as well as the introduction of modern digital technologies.
