Bishkek, Oct. 30, 2024. / Kabar /. Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Alymkadyr Beishenaliev is taking part in the 74th session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe in Copenhagen, where representatives of countries discuss the main problems and priorities of health care.
Speaking at the forum, the Kyrgyz minister emphasized the importance of the session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe as a platform for exchanging experiences and discussing strategies aimed at strengthening public health and improving the resilience of health systems in the face of global challenges.
In his speech, the minister noted the achievements of Kyrgyzstan over the years of cooperation with WHO, with a special emphasis on the recent International Health Investment Forum in Central Asia, held in June 2024 under the patronage of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov.
The forum highlighted the importance of investing in health care and its role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The minister also drew attention to the importance of combating non-communicable diseases and increasing the resilience of public health.
"Today, more than ever, we need unity and determination in creating an effective and fair healthcare system. Only by working together we can achieve a sustainable future where health and well-being are available to everyone," stressed Alymkadyr Beishenaliev.
