Bishkek, Nov. 18, 2024. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s election of deputies to local councils were held on Nov. 17.
As of 8:00 p.m., the total voter turnout amounted to 27.83%. Out of 4,135,039 citizens included in the voter lists, 1,150,931 people cast their votes.
The following parties are elected to the Bishkek City Council:
Adilet party got 18,297 votes (15.09%), Zhany Kuch –New Force- 36,623 votes (29.38%), Yntymak - 17,063 votes (14.07%), Emgek - 26,687 votes (22%), El Umutu - 13,260 votes (10.93%), Uluu Zhurt- 1,619 votes (1.34%). 8,686 voters (7.16%) voted “against all”.
The following parties passed to the City Council of Osh:
Zhany Kyrgyzstan - 23,783 votes (43.36%), Yntymak - 10,982 votes (20.02%), Muras - 8,309 votes (15.15%), Bir Bol - 5,350 votes (9.75%), Mildet - 5,704 votes (10.4%). The “against all” position was chosen by 728 people (1.33%).
The Central Elections Commission (CEC) noted that the electoral threshold for passage was reduced from 7% to 5%. In Osh, all parties passed this threshold.
