Over 7.4 thsd Kyrgyzstanis receive treatment in Uzbekistan

Bishkek, Nov. 11, 2024. / Kabar/. From January to September 2024, more than 7.4 thousand citizens of Kyrgyzstan were treated in Uzbekistan, according to data of the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During this period, 81.7 thousand foreign citizens arrived in Uzbekistan for treatment.

The largest number of patients were citizens of Tajikistan (62,347 people), Kazakhstan (9,537) and Kyrgyzstan (7,481). They are followed by citizens of Russia (1,424 people), Turkmenistan (727 people), Turkey (29 people), Afghanistan (23 people), Ukraine (16 people) and other countries.

Compared to the same period in 2023, the number of foreign patients increased by 80.2%.
