Bishkek, Oct 17, 2024. /Kabar/. Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban will visit Kyrgyzstan to attend the Summit of the Organization of Turkic State (OTS), which is slated for Nov 5-6, the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
The issues of preparation to the upcoming visit of the prime minister of Hungary were discussed on Wednesday in Budapest during the meeting of Talantbek Kushchubekov, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Hungary with Ádám Stifter, Deputy State Secretary for Development of Cooperation with Eastern Countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary.
The sides discussed the issues of Kyrgyz-Hungarian strategic partnership. They also summarized the results of the recent working visit of Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov to Hungary, which took place on October 11 this year.
The parties also discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, including the activities of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund and the scholarship program “Stipendium Hungaricum”. State Secretary Ádám Stifter confirmed the readiness for further joint work with the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Hungary to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries.
