Bishkek, Oct 22, 2024. /Kabar/. Today, October 22, the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov congratulated the employees of the diplomatic service at a ceremonial event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic.

In congratulation President Zhaparov said that this is not just an anniversary event, it is an important part of the history of the Kyrgyz diplomatic service, which has always protected the interests of our state!

“The history of Kyrgyz diplomacy goes hand in hand with the history of the Kyrgyz people since ancient times. In those days, we, as a separate people, established relations not only with neighboring tribes, but also with great empires, created military and political alliances and concluded agreements with other states,” he said emphasizing that Kyrgyz diplomacy has developed and formed on the basis of centuries-old history and the wisdom of the people.

Sadyr Zhaparov also noted that the modern Kyrgyz diplomacy has come a long way in its development, overcoming many difficulties.

“Kyrgyzstan is increasingly expanding its international ties with other countries. At present, our diplomats not only strengthen international relations, but also create new opportunities for the development of the country. The bridges of friendship that you have built, mutual respect and partnership with other countries have become the basis for the recognition of Kyrgyzstan in the international arena as a state advocating for peace and striving for joint development.

Despite all the difficulties and challenges, I am confident that the diplomatic service of the Kyrgyz Republic will continue to open new pages of cooperation and work tirelessly to strengthen the international authority of our country,” the president said wishing the diplomats inexhaustible energy in promoting Kyrgyzstan's foreign policy priorities in the world arena.
