Sadyr Zhaparov and Viktor Orban discuss prospects for developing bilateral co-op

Bishkek, Nov. 5, 2024. / Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov and Prime Minister of the Hungarian People's Republic Viktor Orban held talks today in a narrow format.

A wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary, as well as prospects for developing bilateral cooperation in various fields were discussed.

Sadyr Zhaparov noted that the Kyrgyz Republic is hosting the summit of the Organization of Turkic States and attaches particular importance to strengthening multilateral relations with Turkic-speaking countries united by a common history, culture and roots.

During the conversation, the head of state expressed high appreciation for the friendly relations between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary, based on mutual respect and trust, and expressed readiness to discuss strengthening the strategic partnership. President Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized that the time had come to open a new page in Kyrgyz-Hungarian friendship. In turn, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and noted that there is fruitful cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary in many key areas. He emphasized that relations between the countries are at a high level, and noted significant potential for further development of bilateral ties in such areas as trade and economic cooperation, agriculture, education and culture.
