Bishkek, Nov.18, 2024. /Kabar/. As the long weekend of the United Arab Emirates’ National Day and winter vacation approaches, the UAE has seen an increase in travel bookings - byn56% compared to the same period last year, the Russian Emirates reported.
Along with this, travel experts note an 11% increase in airfares as more and more tourists seek to purchase them in advance.
According to EaseMyTrip, high demand is observed in such travel destinations as Tbilisi, Baku and Amman, known for their cultural attractions.
Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan are among the most popular budget destinations. On platforms such as Holiday Factory, separate categories of tours to Uzbekistan, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan are being rolled out on the wave of high demand.
On Dec. 2, 1971, the rulers of the six emirates, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah and Ajman, signed a union agreement establishing a single state. This important day is a public holiday and is celebrated with various events and festivities throughout the country.
The dates of the holidays are announced in advance so that the people of the country can plan their travels. In addition to the public vacation weekend, working UAE residents are also entitled to a 24-day paid vacation every year.
